British Cars also needed a small download archive; the spareparts catalogs are availbale in PDF format.... so another opportunity to play with YooTheme's ZOO.

British Cars is a website for restoring oldtimers like Austin Healey, Triumph's and such. They wanted the MOSS spareparts on their site for their customers. Not directly for ordening, but for reference. Catalog has to be searchable, both on MOSS number and on part description.

So... let's try Zoo's Product Catalog.

I have been looking at this application builder for managing Joomla content for a while now, and finally decided: I gotta see what this is and what this does. It is created by YooTheme ZOO and comes with different apps to build a download archive, a product catalog, a blog and much more. even better, you can create your own.

So I bought a licence. Now it's time to play.

I mentioned before I don't like it that the website name isn't visible in the Joomla backend in the black bar above the menu. I sometimes work in several sites at a time and it gets confusing to stare at the browser-title, I'd rather have it visible like it was in Joomla 1.5. Well, found out is is possible...

After a server upgrade from php5.2 to php5.3 the RokDownloads - Latest downloads module started throwing errors. Time for a quick repair-job.
