Today was a nice day to try and update a Joomla 1.7.5 site to Joomla 2.5.1.

An ideal site to start with as it has only a couple of menu items with single pages and besides the JCE editor only one extension, Easyblog, with, really, only one blog-itme.

So what can go wrong, huh? Apart from some hickups, basically nothing and all is running smoothly.

 

I started another new site, and for this one, I am using Joomla 1.7.3, along with a Rockettheme template and the gantry template framework.

Joomla 1.5.23 is out for 2 weeks now so it was time to do an update. Updated several components, modules and plugins while I was at it, EasyBlog, RSFirewall!, RSSeo, JCE...

Updated my own site. Several components had newer versions, like Easyblog, RSFirewall, RSSeo and the JCE editor. So now we are up-to-date once again.

I've got a few sites left that need to be migrated to 1.5.22 (or higher) and now it is time to do one I have been not too fond of starting, with docman, jevents and more.

Begin dit jaar is de website van de Wierdense IJsclub geheel vernieuwd. Ten eersteis de site voorzien van een fris jasje - een nieuwe template, en is de informatie op de site anders geordend en hopelijk duidelijker voor de bezoekers.

Eergisteren kondigde de maker van de JCE editor een security update aan. De nieuwste versie van de editor is nu 1.5.7.7.

Did an upgrade from 1.5.18 to 1.5.21 for 2 websites today. Also updated JCE and removed Jevents , replaced it with EventList.

I"ve recently installed three Joomla sites, all 1.5.15, all with different webhosts.

With one of those sites, I get strange results with the most recent JCE editor.
The toolbar in the backend shows non-formatted hover text.

Can"t find what is causing this.
