RokDownloads module error after upgrade to php5.3

First way to start looking was the RocketTheme - RokDownloads site, but unfortunately, there was no update. I am on version 1.0.2 and that is the most recent version on their site.

From their forum I found a post with a solution.

It has a link to a German site where a solution is presented. According to one of the forum posters (Cedric Walter) it is not the best solution since it stops the module from caching, but since there is no real solution yet, we have to go with this one.

So I made the changes in the modules and the error message on my sites is gone.

Hopefully the RokDownloads extension will be updated with a more robuust solution.
